2 Corinthians 4:7-9 "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."

    Mary, Mary...Quite Contrary!

The (Catholic) Church allows hormonal medications after rape to decrease the chance of pregnancy before fertilization has taken place but after conception, not anymore! - Abortion: A Matter of Rights, Ethics handout, author unknown

I am so sorry and it feels too odd to be learning Ethics without referring to God's Word (i.e. The Bible). If anyone wants to make the most of his life by really knowing what's right and wrong, let him study the Bible and learn that the wisdom of this crazy world is foolishness to God.

Let your yes be simply yes and your no be simply no; anything more than that comes from the evil one. - Matthew 5:37

hehe. weird talaga ang ethics class. hindi ko yan nabasa ah, pero by the sound of it, medyo kinokontra nila yung sarili nila. akala ko ba contraception by itself is wrong? the intention, yung fact the ayaw mo magkaanak, makes it wrong kaya kahit ano pa man yung circumstances, mali yung contraception. eh bakit allowed sa rape victims? hmm, labo.

there is no right or wrong. just good and evil. one must experience both to learn the difference. :)
